Q. How long should I grow my hair out before waxing?
A. I recommend a minimum of 2 weeks after shaving before getting waxed. This will allow me to grab as much hair as possible leaving you with the smoothest results.
Q. What should I expect (pain wise) my first time getting a bikini wax?
A. You should expect some discomfort while the strips are being pulled. However, because I am a speed waxer the discomfort is quick.
Q. How should I prepare for my first bikini wax?
A. I advise all first time clients to take some ibuprofen before coming in to help minimize any swelling or long lasting discomfort. You should also wash, exfoliate & moisturize the area before your appointment.
Q. Will all the hair come up the first time?
A. It is unlikely that every single hair will come up your first wax because of the hair growth stages (anagen, catagen, and telogen). However, staying consistent with your waxing routine will give you the best results.
Q. Is it possible to stop my service due to the discomfort?
A. Yes, at any point you may stop your service. Depending on how much of the service was completed will determine the pricing.
Q. Can I still get waxed while on my menses?
A. No, I would recommend waiting. Waxing during your menses may cause more pain & irritation.
Q. Can I bring a friend for moral support?
A. Due to COVID-19, there will be no extra people allowed. If they are scheduled for a service, they may wait in the car until their scheduled appointment.
Policies
- By booking an appointment with us you understand that skin irritation/rash may occur.
- 2 weeks prior to your appointment you can NOT use any products such as Accutane or any products containing retinol, retin-a, tretinoin, or alpha hydroxy acids because skin may be more susceptible to lifting.
- You have the option to opt-out of before and after photos. Please let me know prior to your appointment.
- There is a $10 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit due when booking to reserve the desired appointment time. This deposit will go towards the cost of your service. If you need to cancel your appointment, the deposit cannot be transferred to your new appointment.
⁃ The location is Claymont, DE. But the address will be given to you the day before your appointment.
⁃ Due to COVID-19 I’m asking everyone to PLEASE wear a mask for the duration of the appointment.
⁃ Upon arrival, please remain in your car & text me letting me know you are here. Please do not call or FaceTime.
⁃ If I am ever running behind schedule, I will take $1 off for every minute that I am late. (Ex: if I’m 10 minutes late, your service will be discounted $10)
⁃ If you are running late, PLEASE text me letting me know how long you will be. There is a 5 minute late policy. After 5 minutes there will be a $10 late fee. After 10 minutes, your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
⁃ If you No call/ no show you will not be allowed to book with me again unfortunately. I’m extremely understanding and very accommodating. However, a simple text letting me know you won’t make it will be appreciated.
